Required Props and Materials
Top priorities
- bluetooth speakers that play relatively loud (for dancing)
- projector and screen or large modern television that computer can be plugged into with HDMI cable
- adaptors and cords for a MacBook computer to plug into the projector or television (I generally carry an HDMI cable will probably be enough - but let's make sure beforehand)
Generally necessary, but not absolutely crucial
- name tags (one per participant)
- 60+ index cards (approx 5 per person)
- masking tape
- playlists of music that the participants will generally like (for dancing)
- 20 or so tea light candles
Some retreats also require
- art supplies (if required, let's discuss the specifics)
- 2 large sheets of paper per person (approximately 46cm x 60cm, or as they measured in the medieval ages and still in the USA - approximately 18 inches by 24 inches)
- sticky notes
- 12 to 36 small uniform objects that can be used as tokens (the size of an average coin)
- a nice empty journal and a nice pen, a small handheld mirror, and perhaps a nice bowl (although we can always find a bowl - so this one is low priority)
- two six sided dice per participant
Other possibilities (not generally required)
- yoga mat (or blanket that can be put on the ground) for each person [generally best to ask participants to bring this if they can].
- raw unsweetened cacao
- cookie dough and cookie cutters
- at least 10 EXTRA STICKY sticky notes per participant
- Tingsha Meditation Bells (I generally carry these but please check with me)
- costume party eye masks (one per participant)
