Perspective taking is one of the core skills of Integral consciousness. As one develops psychologically the depth, breath and accuracy of one's perspective taking ability grows.
Leadership effectiveness - especially in the face of challenges that involve social complexity - depends upon a robust perspective taking ability.
Without integral perspective taking ability we tend to mistake our thoughts for the truth.
